Trianon goes to Arras!

In October 2015 we will be making a return visit to see our partner music group in Arras, France for concerts and socialising!  Trianon Music Group has enjoyed strong connections with Arras for many years and Arras is twinned with Ipswich.

The Ipswich Arras Society says:

“Ipswich has long had an Accord with Arras which is a city steeped in history from Roman times through to the French Revolution, the Great War and World War 2. In medieval times Arras was renowned for the quality of its tapestries and that heritage is still celebrated today.”

This October the visit will include plenty of opportunities for socialising and we will perform joint concerts with Crescendo, who are a lively musical group based in Arras.  They were very enthusiastic about our visit in 2013 and announced it on their website like this:

“Grosse annonce aujourd’hui en ce qui concerne nos relations Franco-Anglaises.
Nos amis du Trianon Music Group d’Ipswich viennent nous rendre visite du 31 Octobre au 2 Novembre 2013 et vont nous/vous gratifier de plusieurs concerts autour d’Arras avec Crescendo bien sur ! … Attention accrochez vous bien !!”
