Take your seats for Saturday’s performance!

There’s still time to grab a seat for our performance of Belshazzar’s Feast on Saturday!
With the last rehearsals taking place this week, members of Trianon Music Group are looking forward to performing a Feast of Choruses and Variations at Snape Maltings this Saturday, 17 September at 7.30pm.
One of the stars of the show is William Walton’s Belshazzar’s Feast. This piece needs quite a bit of organisation – two small brass sections have been added to the orchestra, the organ will sound round the auditorium and there is an extensive percussion section, including an anvil. Yes – we’ve found a local forge which is lending us their anvil for the event!
The choir is larger than usual to accommodate 2 choirs plus a semi-chorus and we are delighted that several local choirs and extra singers have joined us for this special event.
We will also perform the glorious Te Deum by Dvorak and the well-known Elgar’s Enigma Variations.
And if you haven’t booked your tickets yet, there’s still time. Here’s the seating plan for Snape Maltings (click on it to enlarge it) and call the Trianon Ticket Line.
