Social events
As well as concerts Trianon are arranging a series of social events for current members as to meet friends and former members from across the globe.
Friday 13 September, 10.30am – Walking Old Ipswich, led by John Field.
There is no charge for this walk which (including coffee break) will last about 90 mins starting from Ipswich Waterfront. However you do need to book because of H & S restrictions. Proposed Programme: 10.30 am, meet at the foyer of the University of Suffolk where you will be led to the boardroom and will meet John Field, the leader of the walk. View of the Hold site, the future Suffolk Archives Office and visit of St Clement’s Church.
11.10 am, tour of Isaac’s interior (Grade I and II listed building) with a 30 minutes coffee/tea break. Then visit Dance House interior (centre of dance for the East of England) and 15th Century St Peter’s Church, used by Music on the Waterfront.
12.15 pm, end at St Mary Quay Church, used as a Centre for Mind. There will be ample time between the end of the walk and the River trip at 2pm.
Friday 13 September, 2 – 4.30pm – River Orwell Trip
Trianon has charted the Orwell Lady for a trip down one of East Anglia’s loveliest and historic rivers. The trip is subject to a minimum of 50 people with a capacity of 100 plus. Booking is £13 per person and will be available at rehearsals.

Orwell Quay is the area after Neptune Marina and the university, between CoffeeLink and Cult Cafe and before you reach the white tented building of Aurora. You will see a large blue sign on the quay.
There is car parking adjacent to the berth in the RCP Car Park. This is accessed via University Lane, which is off Duke Street, and there are several disabled parking bays. There are also other car parks within short walking distance.
Sunday 15 September, 12 noon for 12.30pm, Henley Community Centre – Jubilee Get Together Lunch
Informal buffet lunch with exhibition, music, words and the official launch of Chris Green’s book, The Trianon Enigma. £10 per person. Booking will be available at rehearsals.
