Celebrating Malcolm!

This year sees the centenary of the birth of Sir Malcolm Arnold.
The Friday Zoom on April 30th was the first of Trianon’s celebrations of the life of our famous past President and featured Alan Poulton, Chairman of the Malcolm Arnold Society of which Trianon is a member
Katherine Arnold is our guest next week, Friday June 11th. She is the oldest of Malcolm Arnold’s three children. She will be talking about her career; from reading geography and anthropology to becoming a psychotherapist; talking about life in the Arnold household; Symphony No 7 where the first movement is supposedly depicting her, and her appreciation of her father’s music now.

There will not be time to hear more than a short clip of the movement dedicated to Katherine on the evening, so do give it a listen beforehand
